Frequently Asked Questions

Real fur. Every trim is made from genuine coyote or fox fur, cut and finished by hand in our workshop in Serbia. The long guard hairs break up the wind around your face, which is why fur is used on cold-weather hoods in the first place.

This is the one question worth two minutes before you order. Hoods are made with two different zipper types — coil and moulded plastic — and they are not interchangeable. Our trims are made with a 49.5 cm zip.

Our fit guide shows you how to tell which type you have. Or email a photo of your hood to arfur011@gmail.com and we will confirm the match before you buy.

Unzip and remove the old trim, then zip the new one onto the same zipper. It takes about a minute and no tailoring is needed. The zipper comes already sewn to the fur, and there is a shaping wire inside so the trim holds its curve.

The buyer. Orders ship Delivered At Place, so import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees charged by your country are not included in our prices and are paid to FedEx on delivery. Shipping itself is free, and orders are dispatched within 3 working days.

Never machine wash or dry clean. If the fur gets wet from snow, shake it out and let it air dry away from direct heat. For summer storage, use a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry place — not plastic.
